Chelsea Head Coach Pochettino Departs

Mutual Agreement Reached After 11 Months

Chelsea Football Club has announced that head coach Mauricio Pochettino has left his position by mutual consent. Pochettino was appointed in January 2023, after interim manager Frank Lampard was dismissed.

Stint Cut Short

Pochettino's tenure lasted just under 11 months, and he departs with the club languishing in the middle of the Premier League table. Chelsea has struggled for form under the Argentine, winning just 12 of their 26 league matches and exiting both domestic cups at the early stages.
